CFC 2011 Conference: A World of Opportunity

Community Foundations of Canada seeks session ideas for 2011 conference

Community Foundations of Canada is inviting community philanthropy practitioners from across Canada and around the world to submit ideas for sessions to be offered during CFC 2011 Conference - A World of Opportunity.

Set for May 12 to 14 in Vancouver, the international gathering will host more than 700 participants from Canada, the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. The CFC 2011 Conference Planning Committee is seeking preliminary concepts for more than 30 dynamic concurrent sessions to be offered during the event.

Proposals should relate to the five central themes of CFC 2011 Conference:

• What Unites Us?
• Where are We Now?
• Relationships in an Accelerated World
• Wicked Problems, Bold Solutions
• Awakening the Assets Within

Deadline for submissions is Friday, Sept. 17. The planning committee will contact successsful applicants by mid-October so they can further develop their concept. More >
