Call for Proposals for Concurrent Sessions
Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) invited leaders and practitioners in community philanthropy to submit ideas for concurrent sessions to be offered as part of CFC 2011 Conference - A World of Opportunity. We would like to thank everyone who submitted an idea. We received more than 60 terrific submissions. Members from our conference planning committee will be reviewing and identifying the ideas we want to develop into a full conference proposal. Further details and descriptions of the concurrent sessions will be posted as they become available.

Conference Participants
We expect a very diverse audience at CFC 2011 Conference - A World of Opportunity. Some will come from very large foundations and others from small and regional centres. Most will be from Canada and others will come from the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. The conference will also attract close to 100 youth engaged in community philanthropy programs.
Concurrent Sessions
Concurrent sessions will range from complex discussions facing community foundations and philanthropists to basic skill development for new and emerging leaders working in the field.
Concurrent sessions are developed by community philanthropy practitioners who are willing to volunteer their experience and expertise. Presenters are responsible for their own conference expenses and CFC gratefully acknowledges their generosity and their contribution to CFC 2011 Conference - A World of Opportunity.
